This new battery charger with LCD screen display from LaCrosse works with all NiCd and NiMH “AA” and “AAA” rechargeable batteries and can charge AA & AAA simultaneously. The LCD display shows capacity for each battery when charging is complete. This charger will not charge defective batteries and has overheat detection to protect over-charging.

The system contains both a methanol fuel cell and a Li-Ion battery which enables it to switch between power from the battery, fuel, or even both depending on the power requirements. Excess power from the fuel-cell component is stored in the Li-Ion battery.
